Dan Harris presents his journey as as a keptical TV reporter and anchor into the world of meditation and mindfulness to sort out the hype from real value. His bottom line is that meditation improves his happiness by an estimated 10%, and at the same time has improved his effectiveness in the workplace. It is an entertaining, well-written book, that can help us deal with the barrage of information that competes for our attention each day.
