Managing Stress In Our Mature Years

Howdy Friends, It is again my pleasure to write another essay for ARD. My fondest desire is that it be useful and contribute to the quality of life for those who buy into the idea that we are in charge of our own destiny. Several decades ago Canadian endocrinologist, Hans Selye wrote a best-selling book about stress. His perception was, as I recall it, that stress motivates us to do things and is not a bad thing unless we allow ourselves to become distressed.
