Our morning session was divided into three parts with David Tsang devoting the first to outlining the history and findings of Dan Buettner’s “Blue Zones” study for National Geographic. This study focused on communities on the islands of Sardinia, Okinawa, and Ikareus, and in Costa Rica and Loma Linda, California. Dave shared the commonalities that were found for living long, happy, productive lives.
The workshop format, opportunity to share ideas, and Dave’s wealth of information created one of our best Annual Meetings ever. Some said it was THE best. David Tsang’s presentation earned comments such as, “David Tsang -an excellent speaker- Insightful and very well organized,” and, “David Tsang was particularly good.”
A more complete review of the entire day will be posted within a couple weeks.
